The Hiland Group entered into a joint venture (50:50) with the Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority (KMDA) in 1999 to form the Calcutta Metropolitan Group Limited (CMGL). Hiland Park, situated on the Eastern Metropolitan Bypass is the flagship development of CMGL. This is a residential-cum-commercial development. The residencies spread over 9 imposing towers, with the tallest accommodating 27 stories, stand proudly over an area of 1.4 million sq.ft. It houses 941 residential units comprising standard apartments, duplex and penthouses.
